Mixed media on birch. Local show for Simcoe Sightings at Quest. Theme was local inspired material. First layer started with the local newspaper articles I related too, as well as the physical form of newsprint. It was fall and there were yellows and reds screaming to be added, I layered the colours, blocking out sections using leaves for shapes. There is a winding road on the 10th that inspired the final layers image.
